Accessing Child Support Services
The New York Child Support Program offers alternatives to in-person services for many child support actions. You can save time by using the options listed below:
Make a payment
Please do not send cash. We encourage you to use an online payment service or pay by mail.
Apply for child support services
Complete an Application for Child Support Services (a fillable PDF).
Apply for Direct Deposit
Complete and submit a Direct Deposit Enrollment Form. For more information, see the Direct Deposit page.
Update case information
To report a change of address, change of employer, loss or reduction of employment, email your local child support office.
Access your account online
Log in with your NY.gov ID to check payments or disbursements.
If you do not have a NY.gov ID, you can create a NY.gov ID now.
File a form to appeal or avoid an enforcement action
Complete and return the appropriate form:
- Affidavit of Net Worth
- Driver License Suspension Request or Challenge
- Mistake of Fact and/or Exempt Money Claim
- Request for Review of Additional Amount
- Statement of Income and Expenses
- Department of Taxation and Finance Challenge
- Professional License Suspension Claim
Many of these forms are fillable. To complete them with a mobile device, you may need an additional app, and free versions are available. Try searching for "app to fill out pdf" to find an appropriate version for your device.

Court operations and contact information
To see current operating hours and procedures for the Family Court in your county, visit the New York State Unified Court System.

In New York City: You may now file support and modification petitions, motions, and requests using the Electronic Document Delivery System (EDDS). More information about EDDS is available from New York City Family Court. If you need assistance or have additional questions, contact the Family Court for your borough.
